Carolyn Severino Rossknecht is a retired educator, devoted mother, proud grandmother, and lifelong advocate for children’s literacy and emotional growth. With a career dedicated to uplifting, inspiring, and nurturing young minds, she continues to share her passion through her heartwarming Care-Kids Stories series.
Her storytelling is inspired by her grandchildren and years of classroom experience, blending character-building lessons with kindness, courage, and imagination. Each story encourages empathy, resilience, and the joy of reading—values she championed throughout her teaching career.
Carolyn holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration and a Master’s level Certification in Reading Recovery. As a National Board Certified Teacher, she achieved one of the highest distinctions in the field of education and was recognized in Who’s Who Among American Teachers for her excellence. Her teaching philosophy was shaped by her study of literacy pioneer Marie Clay, and her innovative reading lessons have helped countless students discover confidence through reading.
